INTRODUCTION
Botany is the science of plants, exploring their external and internal Structure, vital activity and development, geographic distribution, environmental dependencies, floristic and coenotic relationships, Classification, origin, evolution, and more. Plant knowledge is essential for agronomists, livestock engineers, veterinary medicine specialists, and anyone interested in Earth's living nature.
In the training of agricultural biology specialists, The Study of plant Cytology, Histology, anatomy, and Morphology is of paramount importance. Mastering these disciplines is crucial for conducting scientific research and pursuing professional activities in the agricultural and biological fields.
The course presented in this study guide has been developed in accordance with the active curricula for the "Botany" course. It is tailored for students of agrarian higher education institutions of levels III-IV of accreditation specializing in agricultural biology, as well as for the training of professionals in forestry, landscape gardening, veterinary medicine, and livestock engineering.
This guide can be used alongside other textbooks and manuals by students studying the standard botany course, as well as specialized courses in plant morphology and morphogenesis, and when mastering specific sections of advanced courses taught at the faculties of plant protection and agricultural technologies.
