Relay

All Sequencer electronics are extremely reliable, with the exception of the relays. There are several simple troubleshooting techniques for identifying relay failures. The first is the tripping of the reagent supply interlock. Although this is most frequently caused by a failure of the reagent delivery timer, relay failures can also trigger the interlock. The second cause is a malfunction of the relay that controls the movement of the fraction collector carousel. In all cases, the only sensible solution is to replace the relays with new ones.
