Calcification of a Fibromatous node
The specimen shows a Uterus with a well-encapsulated mass up to 7 cm in diameter within its wall. An area of calcium salt deposition is clearly visible within the mass. Histological examination reveals signs of tissue atypia, and calcium-containing deposits are verified using the von Kossa staining technique. This process represents a secondary degenerative change within the tumor.
