The parenchyma reveals a variegated tissue nodule with indistinct borders and infiltrative growth. Hepatoblastoma, or embryonal hepatoma, is a malignant liver tumor originating from embryonic pluripotent tissue. The tumor appears as numerous whitish-yellow nodules infiltrating the liver parenchyma; it grows rapidly and metastasizes to Lymph Nodes AND hematogenously to the Lungs. Death results from intraperitoneal Hemorrhage.
